Terms of Use
The rules for using Gifted Hoops rankings, profiles, subscriptions, and events.
1. Who We Are
Gifted Hoops is an Ohio-based basketball media and events brand. These terms cover the website (giftedhoops.com and related preview domains), our Insider subscription, event registrations, and any digital content we publish.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate info when you sign up. You are responsible for what happens on your account. Players under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign up on their behalf. We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform, submit false info, or attempt to scrape our data.
3. Gifted Insider Subscription
Insider is a paid recurring subscription ($6.99/month or $75/year) that unlocks scouting reports, player bios, socials, and other member content. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel from your Account page. Trial periods, if offered, convert to paid at trial end unless canceled.
4. Event Registrations
Camps, leagues, and other events are ticketed products with the price shown at checkout. Registration confirms your spot but does not guarantee playing time, team placement, or specific coaches — those are editorial decisions of the Gifted Hoops staff.
5. Refunds
Refund eligibility is described on the Refund Policy page. By purchasing you agree to that policy.
6. Content Ownership
Rankings, write-ups, photos, and video produced by Gifted Hoops are our intellectual property. Personal, non-commercial sharing on social media is welcome with credit. Redistribution, resale, or use to train AI/ML systems is not permitted without written consent.
7. Player Content & Consent
Player profiles are built from public sources and submissions. Parents or guardians may request corrections, removal, or a claim of their child's profile via the Contact page. We review these requests promptly.
8. Prohibited Conduct
No scraping, reverse engineering, harassing users, submitting false information, sharing your Insider access, or interfering with the site's operation.
9. Editorial Independence
Rankings and coverage decisions are made by our scouting staff and are not for sale. Sponsorships and paid placements are labeled as such.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about recruiting outcomes, scholarships, or exposure. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts located in Hamilton County, Ohio.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date, and active subscribers will be notified by email when required.
